Nokia Drops MeeGo!

OmG!!who saw that coming?? Nokia has been struggling for the last 4 years..recently they decided o start manufacturing windows phone 7 and kill Symbian..now they decided to drop MeeGO!!

MeeGo was nokias only hope at coming back to the mobile market but production of MeeGo phones are really slow and Elop said they will be able to make only one MeeGo device by the end of 2011 and only announce 3 devices by 2014...by that time they will have to shut down the company and sell their employees on ebay..anyway they made a move on windows phone 7 but wp7 itself isn't a fully grown OS...compared to major OSes like iOS and android its still at a very early stage...

this is what Stephen Elop had to say for himself:

"I tried to call Oistämö, but his phone battery was dead. "He must have been trying an Android phone that day," says Elop. When they finally spoke late on Jan. 4, "It was truly an oh-s--t moment-and really, really painful to realize where we were," says Oistämö. Months later, Oistämö still struggles to hold back tears. "MeeGo had been the collective hope of the company," he says, "and we'd come to the conclusion that the emperor had no clothes. It's not a nice thing."

Star Wars TV Series

George Lucas said on a interview with G4tv that he has 50 HOURS worth of STAR WARS script!!man that's more than 50 episodes of STAR WARS on TV..if it is on channels like HBO SHOWTIME or amc then thats around 50 years worth of entertainment for STAR WARS lovers...the story is going to take place between the movies revenge of the sith and a new hope

Back to the topic- he isn't going to do it until he finds cheaper technology to make the series...

But looks like everything is ready(exept for that) hope we can hear about in in 2 years...

iOS 5 will be at WWDC

Apple will always announce something really cool about the iPhone at WWDC they must..But this time they might not show a new iPhone but they will show a new iOS!!that is iOS 5..apple announced this in a press release..

this PR says they will first announce Mac OSX Lion first then show off the new Operating system for the most famous mobile on earth..iOS 5 and talk about iCloud..and talk about what developers can do with their new OSes..

this new update will bring the biggest changes in iOS..from new multi-tasking to widgets and dashboards and home screens..new features of syncing with Mac OSX and Mac OSX Lion

iOS 5 will be available for iPhone 4,iPad,iPad 2 and probably iPod touch...

 

32Gb RAM

Looks like the Koreans have beaten the Japanese  in this race too..The Race of RAM..I mean if there was any race of this sort then they have sure beaten them..

Samsung started MASS PRODUCTION of 32gb RAM..yes 32GB!!im writing this from a computer with only 4gb ddr3 RAM and Samsung already started producing 32Gb rams..


anyway these RAMs are 30nm based means they are really tiny...dont worry they will fit in your regular ddr3 ram slot.. so this means you gotta have 64 bit windows and a motherboard that supports ddr3 RAM..and they are pretty cheap i have one from gigabyte..Samsung said that they are producing for servers and cloud computing right now(i don't know what it means) but they will produce them for home computers soon..they will alos be shipping out 20nm based 4Gb ddr3 RAMs in fewa months

These RAMs will be 50% faster and will consume around 20% less power than their 40nm based counterparts..


   

iCloud to be announced WWDC

Apple confirmed that their upcoming cloud based music service will be announced on 6th June that s the first day of WWDC this is where they announce a new iPhone but this time people are thinking that they might not..but they have other things to announce like iCloud which lets you stream music thought your web browser or probably with iTunes after an update..or through a standalone iCloud app..

they will announce Mac OSX  Lion at WWDC...this time they will give a release date which could be released on the same day or few days or month's later..

Or they could show off how iCloud works on the iPhone,IOS 5 and the new Mac OSX Lion!!that would be super sweet..
