Nvidia demoed their new Quad Core CPU for tablets and Mobile phones today..yeah thats right Quad Core for mobile phones and tablets..guess what I'm writing this from a dual core desktop..anyway the Quad core CPU is called kal-el for the time being it is the kryptonian name of superman/Clark Kent...why wouldnt it be called kal-el?? it is the most powerful mobile processor out there not in the market..i hope it doesn't have a weakness like kryptonite...
anyway here is a video of the kal el running honeycomb tablet playing a game.and by the way they say its gonna be 30% faster than it is right now when they come out
i don't think they will release any kal-el power tablets or mobile phones this year since they havent sold that many dual core tablets or mobiles..like when nvidias CEO said that tegra 2 running tablets haven't been selling much.. in fact all Tegra 2 tablets combined hasn't sold even half of what iPad 2 sold..
